Big Shot is a sports-themed comedy-drama series that was developed for Disney+. David E. Kelley, Dean Lorey, and Brad Garrett are the show’s creators. Alongside Bill D’Elia, Kelly, Lorey, and Garrett all contribute to the production of the show as executive producers.

Coach Marvyn Korn lost his NCAA position for throwing a chair at a referee, so he offers to coach at Westbrook, an all-girls private high school. His abrasive style alienates athletes. Emma moves in with Korn when her mother gets a job in Italy. Korn gradually softens his exterior and builds better relationships.
Westbrook Sirens play better and UC Santa Barbara takes note (UCSB). The Sirens are preparing for a major game against the Carlsbad Cobras when he’s offered a coaching job. Coach Korn must come up with new plays, including the “Sacrifice Play,” after the Siren playbook goes missing.
Coach Korn chooses to stay at Westbrook over UCSB. Before the game, he tells them, “I went out to develop a new playbook for the team, but I ended up drafting one for me.” He advises playing without supporters because shenanigans aimed to throw off the Sirens’ game. Mouse wins a nail-biter with the Sacrifice Play.
Westbook will move on to Division II after beating Carlsbad in the Season 1 finale. This will introduce new basketball teams, personalities, and tougher competition. Can they keep Division II?
Assistant Coach Holly will be the next coach at Carlsbad, the team the Westbrook Sirens beat. That implies he may rematch Westbrook, a high-stakes situation for everyone.

After the first season of the show concluded in June, the fans were concerned that the show had been terminated, and they were waiting for news regarding the renewal of Season 2. Nevertheless, Stamos held out hope.
It is much too soon for Stamos to return home. To our good fortune, Disney made the announcement back in September that the show will be brought back.
The pilot episode of Big Shot’s first season aired in April 2021, and just four months later, the show was given the green light for a second season. For the time being, we may anticipate that the second season will premiere in the fall of 2022.
