By the end of the semester, students will have to look elsewhere if they want to listen to a student-run radio. Based on concerns with consistency, some legal issues and general policies, ASUW executives and ASUW Student Radio General Manager Zach Taylor decided to establish a committee to evaluate the program, Taylor said. Until changes have been implemented, the student radio will not broadcast, starting May 8 and lasting until next school year, he said.

The Union pulsated with hip-hop beats and passionate feet as three members of Dance to Live, a break dance crew out of Denver, held a Break Dancing workshop. The Association of Black Student Leaders hosted the event.

Laramie groups meet with students at volunteer fair PDF Print E-mail

The annual spring volunteer fair was held Wednesday in the Union to give volunteer groups from around the community the opportunity to speak with students about ways to get involved.

The event was a great way to give students an idea of what opportunities exist for them around Laramie, Volunteer Service Events Coordinator, Liz Malm, said. “We had many organizations from around Laramie. Essentially, the volunteer fair was an opportunity for these groups to set up tables and tell students how to get involved.”
