Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the board exams have been delayed a lot. Earlier board exams for classes 10th and 12th generally occur in the month of March and end in the first week of April. But now pandemic has changed the scenario of the exams. Now the exams will be held in the month of April and May. Recently Maharashtra board has announced the schedule of the exams for classes 10th and 12th. Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has announced the date sheet of the exams. According to the sources it was observed that now Higher Secondary Certificate which is class 12th and Secondary School Certificate which is class 10th students will have exams starting from April 23, 2021, to May 21, 2021, for classes 12th and for 10th class the students will appear in the written exam which will start from April 29, 2021, to May 20, 2021.
Location of conducting examinations
As Maharashtra being the hotspot of COVID-19 the government needs to think twice about conducting the examinations. However, the exams will be conducted will fill precautionary measures in the state. Maharashtra State Board of secondary and higher Secondary Education has informed the locations for the examinations. They will conduct exams in Pune, Nagpur, Aurangabad, Mumbai, Kolhapur, Amravati, Nashik, Latur, and Konkan regions in the month of April and May 2021.
The state board has scheduled the examinations. They have also made the information available on the official website of the Board from 16 February 2021. However, the board is currently accepting suggestions regarding these schedules was invited to board in writing till February 22, 2021. Although, the board has informed that these dates and the schedule have been finalized by observing the suggestions received from various organizations, parents, teachers, and students. The students and the parents were also advised by the State board to keep a proper check on the entire Schedule on the board’s official website.
However, all the information which is available on the board of Education website is only for information. Students and parents are also advised to keep a check on the dates prior to their examination. However, the board has also informed that schedules printed on other websites or other systems, as well as those who have gone viral on WhatsApp or similar channels, will not be accepted.
