The Wyoming Cowgirls (16-5, 6-2) five game winning streak was snapped Wednesday night as they fell to the BYU Cougars, 73-48, in Provo. The Cowgirls now sit at second in the Mountain West Conference standings.

fifth-straight win of the season, defeating San Diego State 59-51 Saturday in Laramie. 

Aubrey Vandiver led the way for the Cowgirls with 20 points, 10 rebounds and two steals. Vandiver also had a rebound on a missed Randi Richardson free throw with 1:07 left to put the game out of reach for San Diego State.

The Cowgirls took care of visiting Seattle University last night with a dominating 70-51 win at the Arena-Auditorium in their last non-conference game of the season.

Wyoming (13-4, 3-1) stepped on the gas early against Seattle. Just two minutes into the game, the Cowgirls were already up 7-0. At the 7:05 mark, redshirt sophomore forward Ashley Sickles connected on her first two points of the game, making the score 31-18 and giving Wyoming what would be their largest lead of the first half. The score at halftime was 35-25.
