Beginning of His Acting Career
After graduating, Nagpal moved to Mumbai, where he was offered his first opportunity to work in television, on the dating show MTV Splitsvilla Season 11, presented by Sunny Leone and Ran Vijay Singh. This was Nagpal’s first experience in the television industry. During the season, he battled against competitors such as Puneet Kumar, Anshula Dhawan, Anushka Mitra, and Aarushi Handa.
After exiting the show, he discussed his first time in front of the camera in an interview:
“When I entered Splitsvilla, I had no idea about how to face a camera. I had no clue about what is acting. I was a very bhola-bhala bachha, I still am. I wouldn’t understand why they would be so manipulative or stupid at times. Later I realized they were acting. As for me, I was there to do tasks. The tasks attracted me in Splitsvilla. I was just being myself.
My mindset was to do all the tasks and win the show. I didn’t go to make any connection or play games. Later when I realized that these things were also important, it was too late. The family was happy. For them, it was like a dreamland as they were not from the industry. My mom was very happy seeing me working hard.”
In addition to MTV’s Splitsvilla and Roadies, Nagpal has also been a part of other advertisements that have shown on television. In the year 2020, he made his debut on television with the show Shakti – Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki, which was shown on Colors TV. He portrayed the character of Virat Singh, the male protagonist, alongside Jigyasa Singh.
His Commitment to Physical Fitness
To perfect his position on TV, he has been putting in a lot of time and effort as a newcomer to the profession. Simba trains his body for the part he has been offered. After joining the profession, he spent many hours in the gym transforming his overweight teenage figure into that of a model.
