Coi Leray, the artist behind “Blick Blick,” did not take Benzino’s most recent comments lightly, and this battle between the father and daughter duo continues to play out on social media.
Benzino mentioned that people would be “in trouble” if they did a collaboration album with their daughter, and then went on to sound off about how people pay too much attention to his family issues instead of their own.
Who is Coi Leray Dad?
Raymond Leon Scott, better known as Benzino, has spent the last few years of his career in the proverbial wilderness. Benzino, who cut his teeth in groups like The Almighty RSO and Made Men, released a number of well-received albums in the early to mid-2000s.
After that, he became a regular on the Atlanta season of Love & Hip-Hop while still working as an underground MC. Nevertheless, in the present day, if you were to mention the term “Benzino” to your casual fan, they would probably associate it most with being a magnet for feud and one of Eminem’s numerous lyrical victims.
His daughter Coi LeRay, a Republic Records signee who had previously gone relatively unnoticed despite being pegged as Trippie Redd’s girlfriend at an early stage in her career, finally broke through in 2020 with the release of her Now Or Never EP. After her initial success, the details of Coi’s family past were rarely spoken.
Benzino has released four studio albums: “The Benzino Project” (2001), “Redemptions” (2003), “Arch Nemesis” (2005), and “The Antidote” (2007). (2007). In addition to these solo efforts, he has also released seven mixtapes, the most recent of which being 2015’s ‘Welcome to Texaco City (With OJ da Juiceman)’.

Description of Rapper Coi Leray’s Conflict With Her Father
Coi Leray uploaded a new version of “No More Parties“ (with Lil Durk) to YouTube on January 22, 2021. She sings, “My daddy let me down, but I promise you I won’t let up I want to yell f*** that man, but that trash won’t make me better,” a reference to her father, in the remix. Even though he hasn’t received the letter, I’m still having a fight with my brother.
Reportedly, Benzino refuted the allegations against him a few days after the remix was uploaded. Since then, Benzino has claimed that she lived a lavish lifestyle, while Leray has denied it.
During a March livestream, The Shade Room’s Instagram showed Leray criticising her father’s parenting methods. Although they have had some back-and-forth since then, it looks that they have patched things up. On June 24, 2021, he shared a photo of her on Instagram with the caption, “Proud Dad Here”.

Although at first glance their relationship appears to be difficult, they seem to have made up by exchanging touching statements about how much they care for one another.
The ‘Trendsetter’ rapper tweeted, “I love my dad Red heart forever and always,”. “I do this for my family, they don’t understand me, no n****s around me, they don’t understand me I do this for my crew they don’t understand I do this s**t for you they don’t understand.”
How Coi Leray Reacts on Being Called Triple Red’s Girlfriend?
The question was posed to Coi Leray if she was unprepared for the attention that came with becoming Trippie Redd’s girlfriend. She said “no”.
At the end of the day, that’s who I f*ckin’ dated and it was public,”. “I don’t expect nobody—he’s a star. He’s a big dude out here.” Trippie named a song after his ex during their tumultuous breakup, but things only got worse from there. Coi Leray may now look back on that time and have a good laugh.
At first, no, I didn’t like it. It was very like, what the f*ck, because I always thought we really had something outside of the music,” she said. “So I’m just like, damn. If you got something to say, let’s get together and you say that sh*t to my face… I felt like I’m being used for click bait.
He’ll sell out with or without me, but at that point I just felt like he coulda just called me, you coulda just hit me, DM’d whoever, emailed. You coulda got the message the f*ck out there because we’re very connected. You ain’t have to go ‘head and put me down like that in a song.
She referred to both the song and what Trippie said about her as “bullsh*t,” but she still respected him as a musician. “Just like me, I’mma put my feelings in a song and my emotions in a song and he does it very well, and that’s one thing I gotta give to him.”
