Sachin Tendulkar was born on 24th April 1973 in the financial capital of India, Mumbai in the state of Maharashtra. Sachin was born in a middle-class family of Marathi descent. His father Ramesh Tendulkar was a Marathi writer and his mother Rajni Tendulkar was appointed to an insurance company.
The Rise Of Master Blaster
In his formative years, Sachin studied in SahityaSahawas Cooperative Housing Society but later he switched to SharadashramVidyamandir High School by advising his cricket coach RamakantAchrekar because it had a cricket dominated the curriculum.
After his training, he got to play in the domestic format at the age of 14, and later he was selected for the international format at the very young age of 16. His first match was against Pakistan in the year 1989.
As Sachin entered his 20’s he already had well-experienced and developed skin in the game. The phase between 1994-1998 is credited as his best phase because he made full potential use of his active 20’s and was recognized as Master Blaster.

Sachin has had several milestones in his cricketing career which may be not possible to mention in detail but to give a brief outline of his performance one may consider his records in the game. Sachin has the following records to his credit :

- Most runs in a career – 15921
- Fastest to reach 15000 runs mark
- Longest carrier – 22 years
- Most number of the 50s in One day international – 145
Apart from these, there are many more records in the name of Sachin also he has the record to be the oldest T20 player.
The Alternate Interests
Sachin may be known as The God Of Cricket but what’s more surprising is that he loves other sports as well. As per his interview, he also likes playing tennis.
