UW tennis and indoor track & field will hit the road this weekend for competition in Lincoln, Neb. and Boise, The No. 75 Cowgirl tennis team will take to the courts in Lincoln today at 4 p.m. against the Cornhuskers and will stay for a Saturday matchup against Illinois State at 11 a.m. The Cowgirls are led by the 62nd ranked doubles team of Simona Synkova and Kim van Ginkel.
The Cowboys are led by seniors Travis Corrow, Ryan Griesback, Jeremiah James and Taylor Kelting. The Cowgirls will look for leadership from seniors Amanda Aimone, Alysha Davis, Andrea Frary, Francis Gipson, Britney Jackson and Afiya Walker. Email: |
The indoor track & field teams will split up to compete at the Boise State Invite in Boise and the Husker Invitational in Lincoln.
