Stapleton began with a 2022 Ram 2500 Heavy Duty and set out to create a “modern” take on the classic 1970s and 1980s Ram looks. In designing the appearance, Stapleton looked to a 1979 Ram Palomino pickup. For this reason, the truck’s exterior was painted in a variety of hues, including Linen Cream, Radar Red, Bison Brown, and Cashmere.

A set of Turbo Fin 18-inch wheels were mounted for an extra dose of ’80s flair. The machined exterior, painted black interior, and chrome centre cap are all very ’80s. To identify the owner, a custom “Traveler” badge in an 80s-style font has been added. The crowning glory is a three-dimensional Ram hood ornament with several chromed faces.
