When TLC’s Counting On was officially cancelled, Welcome to Plathville filled the Duggar-sized void in viewers’ hearts. It’s difficult to imagine not being able to see the Plath children grow up and defy their parents’ strict rules. Is a fourth season of Welcome to Plathville on the way?

The first three seasons are a blur of the Plath children’s attempts to find their way outside of the family home. Ethan Plath discovers a world of candy, alcoholic beverages, and “worldly” television shows. Moriah Plath strikes out on her own and enters into a love relationship for the first time.

Micah Plath, on the other hand, is pursuing a modelling career. It’s not time to say good-by to them yet.

Welcome to Plathville Season 4 Plot Expectations

TLC has renewed Welcome to Plathville Season 4, and many fans are excited to see what this season has in store for them. When the Welcome To Plathville family members parted ways in season 3, there were some unanswered questions.

After their parents moved to Florida, their older children began to rebel against their parents, who began to loosen their grip on the younger children. Kim and her husband, Barry, have a total of nine children.

Fans of Welcome to Plathville have discovered over the years that the couple raised their children in a strict Christian home where modern technology and the consumption of sweets, among other things, were prohibited. Except religion, the Plath children were socially isolated from their peers from a young age.

Later, as the children grew older, they began to test the boundaries, causing Kim and Barry significant problems. Due to the strain in their relationship, Ethan Plath, their eldest son, no longer speaks with his parents. Kim and Barry appear to be more relaxed since the end of Season 3, but fans are still curious about what to expect in Welcome To Plathville Season 4.

When Does the Fourth Season of Welcome to Plathville Start?

If a fourth season of Welcome to Plathville is made, it could air on TLC in August 2022. The first two seasons will debut in November 2019 and November 2020, respectively. Then, in August 2021, Season 3 debuted, shocking fans. If Welcome To Plathville Season 4 is released a year after Season 3, the August 2022 release date makes sense.

If the fans of Welcome to Plathville had their way, Season 4 of the show would be released right away. However, due to COVID-19 recording requirements and the limitations of actually filming and editing episodes, they may have to wait a little longer.

However, the wait will be well worth it to see where Ethan and Olivia stand, as well as how Ethan’s relationship with his family improves or deteriorates.

Season 4 Could Delve Deeper Into Lydia Plath’s Life Story

Fans of Welcome to Plathville are anxious to find out what happens to Ethan and Olivia. Kim and Barry’s marriage is in trouble, and they aren’t helping matters by behaving badly. Lydia Plath, Ethan’s younger sister, steals the show in Season 3 by attempting to connect with a boy she likes.

Lydia’s story may take a more prominent role in Season 4. Lydia’s eldest siblings are eager to leave the house and follow their parents’ rules, but Lydia is not one of them. Despite her skepticism, she appears eager to live life as a young person. Season 4 could be her breakout season.
