on the road to take on Texas Christian (16-8, 8-2 MWC) Saturday in Fort Worth at 11 a.m. The game will be televised on the Mtn. Network.

In Laramie earlier this year, TCU dominated Wyoming in a 68-47 win. It was the Cowgirls first conference loss of the season.

Wyoming is second and TCU is third in the MWC standings behind Brigham Young University and they are both riding a two game winning streak.

Collectively, Wyoming and TCU rank in the top five in the MWC in almost every major statistical category.

The Cowgirls rank first in field goal percentage (.439), three-point field goal percentage (.366), defensive rebounding (27.5), and are tied for first in rebounding margin (+6.2). They are second in scoring defense (56.2), scoring margin (+10.6), blocked shots (4.7), assists (17.2), and assist/turnover ratio (1.3), according to MWC Athletics.

TCU ranks first in the conference in free throw percentage (.739) and field goal percentage defense (.353). They rank second in scoring offense (67.7 points per game), three-point field goal percentage defense (.283), and turnover margin (+2.62).

Senior guard Aubrey Vandiver leads the Cowgirls, and league, in scoring with 18.2 points per game and is second in the league in rebounding with 9.2 per game. Senior center Hillary Carlson is second on the team and in the MWC in scoring with 17.6 points per game.

TCU boasts two prolific scorers as well in senior guard Emily Carter, who is second in the conference with 17.8 points per game, and senior guard Helena Sverrisdottir, who is fifth in the conference with 15.3 points per game. Sophomore forward Starr Crawford leads the MWC in rebounding at 9.5 a game, according to MWC Athletics. 

The Cowgirls return home on Feb. 16 to face off against the Utah Utes. Tip-off is at 7 p.m. in the Arena Auditorium.
