Who Won American Idol Season 20?
Noah Thompson won Season 20 of American Idol when America cast their votes. It was a poignant finale to the show, as his family and friends rushed the stage to celebrate the event.
In the wake of Thompson’s victory, HunterGirl, the second-place finisher, will join him on Good Morning, America at 8 am ET/PT tomorrow. A performance on Live With Kelly and Ryan at 9 am ET/PT will be Thompson’s next stop.
Melissa Etheridge, Katy Perry, and Luke Bryan are all visitors for the last three acts’ sets. The duet of “Firework” by Katy and Leah is particularly outstanding. “Stay” by Rihanna is Noah’s second solo performance of the season.
Lionel informs him, “That’s all there is to it. During her audition, HunterGirl performed “Riot” by Rascal Flatts, earning her the first Platinum Ticket.

Will It Be Renewed for Season 21?
Earlier this month, ABC announced that American Idol has been renewed for Season 21. ABC hailed the show’s performance in the ratings, calling it ABC’s top show this season for total viewers. Since last season, it’s up 15% in the 18-49 demographic.
The show’s renewal was announced live on air by host Ryan Seacrest during Sunday night’s fresh episode. However, it’s not yet known who will be returning for the upcoming season. Katy Perry, Lionel Richie, and Luke Bryan have all served as judges on five different episodes of ABC’s The Voice during the course of their careers.

Online auditions and virtual open calls are open for Season 21. To register for the exhibition, visit the official website. Please keep in mind that you must be at least 15 years old.

American Idol Season 21: Release Date
