In 2002, Howerton made his TV debut in “Monday Night Mayhem,” guest-starring on “The Job” and “That Was,” and starring as Corey Howard on Fox’s “That ’80s Show.” The NBC medical drama “ER” cast him as Dr. Nick Cooper in 2003; he also starred in the films “Must Love Dogs” and “Serenity” in 2005.
That same year, Glenn co-starred with Rob McElhenney, Charlie Day, and Kaitlin Olson in “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia,” which became America’s lengthiest live-action comedy television show when this was renewed for a fifteenth season in May 2020.
