Bridgerton’s Principal Ava Coleman (Janelle James) announced the show’s Season 2 renewal in a letter to “Faculty and Students (aka My Fans)” in a similar fashion to Lady Whistledown’s Society Paper.
ABC’s decision to renew Abbott Elementary comes as no surprise since the show has rapidly become a social media sensation. Adults 18-49 have rated the half-hour as ABC’s top new comedy in two years, and it is tied with CBS’ Ghosts as the season’s top comedy, both of which have already been renewed for Season 2.
