Heels Season 2 Has Finally Started Filming! When Can We Expect Season 2?

It’s safe to say that “Heels” has been one of the biggest TV surprises of the year. Michael Waldron, the chief writer of “Loki” conceived the show, which stars Stephen Amell and Alexander Ludwig as two brothers who wrestle for their father’s wrestling business in Georgia and cope with the drama that ensues.

A 96 percent Fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes indicates that the show was well-received by reviewers. Immediately after its premiere, it was given a second season.

On October 10, 2021, the Season 1 finale of “Spade” aired, and fans have been clamoring for more. Here is all the information we have on the impending second season of “Heels.”

Heels Season 2: Release Date

This summer’s freshman wrestling drama Heels has been revived for a second season by Starz. Season 2 of Heels is scheduled to launch in the fall of 2022, but an official premiere date has yet to be revealed.

According to Amell’s latest Twitter post, Heels season 2 has already begun filming. Peter Segal will direct the premiere episode according to a tweet from the Arrow alum. Executive producer Segal also directed a large number of the first season’s episodes as a director.

Who will Return in Heels Season 2?

The majority of the cast will reprise their role in Season 2. We can expect the following members to return:

  • Stephen Amell as Jack Spade
  • Alexander Ludwig as Ace Spade
  • Alison Luff as Staci Spade
  • Mary McCormack as Willie Day
  • Kelli Berglund as Crystal Tyler
  • Allen Maldonado as Rooster Robbins
  • James Harrison as Apocalypse

What will be the plot of Heels Season 2?

Ace and Jack had a falling out at the end of season one of “Heels,” when Crystal won the DWL championship. The union between Jack and Staci, however, is in trouble. Jack’s attempts to reconcile with both his brother and wife appear to be the main emphasis of this season’s storyline.

While the possibility of Ace leaving the DWL has been discussed, the show would be incomplete without him in the ring. Executive producer Mike O’Malley will return for Season 2 as showrunner and executive producer, according to Deadline.

In addition, he’ll reprise his role as Florida Wrestling Dystopia promoter Charlie Gully. Executive producer and showrunner Michael Waldron will return to the show, working with Marvel Studios and LucasFilm on new projects.
