Sunday marked the beginning of Alia Bhatt and Ranbir’s journey as proud parents. They are both stars of the Bollywood industry. The proud parents described themselves as “blessed” and “obsessed” with their daughter when they broke the news that they had given birth to a daughter.
After the couple became first-time parents on Sunday to a baby girl, members of Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s families paid a visit to congratulate them at a local hospital where they were staying.
Alia Bhatt gave birth to her child at 12:05 on Sunday afternoon, several hours after initially checking into the HN Reliance Hospital that morning. Ranbir, her mother Soni Razdan, and Neetu Kapoor, her mother-in-law, were all there in the hospital with her when she gave birth, and they were all there to support her.
How Did they Announce the News?
The couple has become parents to a little girl. Alia Bhatt made the announcement on her Instagram account with the following caption:“And in the best news of our lives, our baby is here, and what a magical girl she is. We are officially bursting with love, blessed and obsessed parents, love love love Ranbir and Alia.”

What Neetu Kapoor Said About Alia’s Health?
Actress Neetu Kapoor, who had been at HN Reliance since the morning, was photographed on her way home to her residence in the evening after spending the day there.
An update on Alia Bhatt’s health was provided by Neetu Kapoor, who stated that the actress was doing well. “Alia is first class, absolutely ok, everything is ok,” she said. She also thanked the paparazzi for their well wishes and stated that the child is too young at this point to determine whether she looks more like her mother or her father. In April of this year, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt tied the knot and became husband and wife.

Couple’s Hectic Post-delivery Schedule
Alia has previously discussed the couple’s hectic post-delivery schedule with CNBC.
“I think the journey of discovery will begin once the baby comes. Definitely the intention is to share, as that’s most important. Ranbir is very happy. He said, ‘Baby you work from this month, so I’ll take time off, and then I come back, and you take time off.’ We just keep taking time off. He is very happy to share that responsibility. He recently said in an interview that he has a ‘big responsibility on his head, and that is to send me (Alia) back to work as the movies will complain if I don’t do my bit as the parent.”
Celebrities Express Their Joy for the New Parents
Mahesh Babu, a famous actor from India’s south, reposted Bhatt’s Instagram photo on his Instagram Stories and said that daughters were ‘special’. He captioned it, “Daughters are indeed special! Congratulations Alia & Ranbir!”
Film-maker Karan Johar also congratulated the proud parents.

Akshay Kumar, the Khiladi of Bollywood, who can currently be seen in the Abhishek Sharma-directed film “Ram Setu,” sent a heartfelt message to the proud parents.
“Congratulations, Alia & Ranbir! No bigger joy in the world than to have a daughter. Bless you, all” he commented on Bhatt’s post.
