IS SHAMELESS COMING BACK FOR SEASON 12?
No, Shameless season 11 was the show’s final season in the United States.
The Alibi, which first aired in 2011, has already closed its doors ten years later, but that doesn’t mean Shameless is no longer on the table.
John Wells, the showrunner, stated that this was the end of the series as we know it, but not necessarily the end of the characters.
“There is nothing planned,” Wells told The Hollywood Reporter. “However, never say never.” Wells did reveal, though, that the team had considered what would happen to the characters “over the next few months” after the finale.
WHEN WAS SEASON 11 RELEASED?
Shameless season 11 premiered on Showtime on April 11, 2021.
Netflix, the streaming service, has lately caught up, prompting fans who didn’t see the final season live to wonder if it would be renewed.

IS FIONA IN SEASON 11?
No, Fiona does not appear in Shameless’ final season.
Fiona Gallagher, the family’s eldest sister and guardian, left the show in the season 9 finale.
The showrunner, John Wells, has stated that they would have loved to have Fiona and her actor, Emmy Rossum, return for the final season, but the pandemic intervened.
Fiona experienced a rough patch in Season 9 before getting her life back on track. Fiona backed her bags to do something for herself after selling her part in the South Side Gentrifications property for $100,000 — and attending an AA meeting with Lip.
Fiona left half of the stake money for Debbie in the finale and took the rest on a jet trip to an unidentified destination.
