Resident Evil is one of the hits and Capcom’s seminal survival horror series. According to the latest update, Resident Evil is looking for its back on the big screen. The movie is going to reboot the headline back to a Fateful night in Raccoon City in 1998 and going to explore the beginning of a new universe following inspiration from the storylines and characters of the games. Resident Evil movie Reboot
The upcoming movie of the series Resident Evil reboot is all set to get a big launch in the theaters probably by the next year as per the sources. According to the reports, the upcoming Resident evil is going to feature the star cast of Maze Runner’s Kaya Scodelario in the amazing role of Claire Redfield, Ant-Man and the Wasp’s Hannah John-Kamen in the screen role of Jill Valentine, Upload’s Robbie Amell in the character of Chris Redfield, and also Zombieland: Double Tap’s Avan Jogia will be in the role of Leon S. Kennedy. In the addition to these popular star names, Tom Hopper – Luther in The Umbrella Academy – will be going to play the role of Albert Wesker, and Neal McDonough of Yellowstone is going to play the onscreen role of William Birkin. Significantly, Constantin Film accompanied by the collaboration of Johannes Roberts, both are going to manage the upcoming part of Resident Evil.
The fateful night in Raccoon City in 1998
The upcoming movie in the series of Resident Evil will be going to recreate the storyline of an origin story. The plot and outline of the movies set on “a fateful night in Raccoon City in 1998” and it affirmed to explore and follow the theme of Capcom’s classic survival horror games. Roberts who was the director of deep-sea thriller 47 Meters Down explained in the press that he wanted to go back to the prior two games through this movie. He added that he also looking to recreate the horrifying visceral adventures the same as he then played them offering a grounded human story of the destruction of a small town in America which will relate to the audience of today also.
Other projects ahead
Although it is not only the Resident Evil which is on the way for release. Currently, Netflix is looking forward to developing two more projects based on Capcom’s long-running horror series. One of them is Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness having the star cast of Leon S. Kennedy with Claire Redfield which will possibly be released next year. Another in the sequence is a bizarre-sounding Stranger like things with live-action series.
