Wyomingites excited about release of first video

The Patti Fiasco is coming off of a recent album release and a video release as they get on stage to play a concert Thursday night.

Front Woman Alysia Kraft said the members founded the band over two-and-half years ago. Kraft described the band as a country-fried, indie rock, with outlaw swagger and sweetheart sound.

Kraft said the band’s drummer, Scott Clabby, will soon be departing. In fact, they were literally in the middle of drummer auditions when she spoke to the BI.

Kraft said the band wanted to have a new drummer as soon as possible, but the members would definitely miss Clabby. “We love, love, love our drummer Scott,” she said.

Kraft said finding a new drummer would be tricky for the band as they needed a person who was not only talented, but enthusiastic and available. She said Clabby could not continue to play in the band as his duties in college were demanding more time than he was able to give.

The band currently lives in Fort Collins but all the members are from Wyoming. Kraft said she first met Dee Tyler, guitar player of the band, at Coal Creek Coffee during an open mic session.

The Wyomingites released their first album in late June and will be supporting that album with various local shows around the region.

Kraft said she was excited because the band  had just released its first official video for their song “You break it, you buy it” Wednesday, which is available through the QR code to the right.
