A Cheyenne man who fled the scene of a crime in Laramie last month is being held on a $100,000 bond. The man, whose name has not been released by authorities, faces the charge of attempted 1st degree sexual assault for his entry into a Laramie resident’s house on Jan. 31, according to a LPD press release. He is also facing larceny charges from an unrelated event that occurred earlier the same day. The man fled from a Laramie woman’s home on the 500 block of 10th street after he was caught inside at about 2:50 p.m. There was no information on the condition of the woman. The 2nd Judicial District Court held a preliminary hearing for the man on Feb. 22. According to the LPD, 1st degree sexual assault is a felony punishable by imprisonment for no less than five and no more than 30 years. Email: |
