Laramie may not have a big population, but the people that are active in the community are loud. elaramie.com is a website that allows the Laramie population to talk about events, the Wyoming government, problems, or anything else that comes to mind. The most prominent feature of the website: the forums. They include message boards about announcements, new decisions at city council, things happening around town, the events of all of Albany County and Wyoming, and an everything else forum where locals can find jokes, introduce themselves if they are new to the site, and any other topic they want to talk about. The controversial subjects of Laramie are covered on the site, including the ever-growing battle over the Tour de Laramie.

Patrick Dougherty looks through a pile of tree limbs on Monday as he constructs his sculpure in Prexy's pasture. Dougherty will be working in Prexy's for two more weeks as he finishes his sculpture.
Dougherty said he chose the northeast corner of Prexy's for his sculpture because it is a place where natural walking paths in the grass intersect. He said he would like for his sculpture to be a place of interraction. The shape of the sculpture is a series of arches leading to open rooms for people to explore.
More of Dougherty's work can be found on his website: www.stickwork.net

The average Fourth of July celebration includes hot dogs, beer, friends, sparklers, and fireworks when the night falls. Fourth of July at my mom's house, on the other hand, was asparagus, a baked ham, a bottle of champagne, and being in bed by 10 p.m.

With the summer months in full swing and the sun having long melted away any lingering memories of those cold Laramie winters, it’s a great time to think about what the summer has to offer in regards to entertainment.
Well we’re all in luck, because right around the corner is the biggest gathering of musical talent that Denver has ever seen.
