World Trigger Season 4 Release Date: Who is Likely to Return?
The third and last episode of World Trigger season 3 finally dropped a week after it was originally scheduled to air. As a result, viewers of the anime are curious if Season 4 will be ordered by Toei Animation. The complete rundown is provided here.
An anime series based on the Japanese manga by Daisuke Ashihara, titled World Trigger. The first season of World Trigger, consisting of roughly 70 episodes, premiered in 2014 from Toei Animation. The season, which garnered positive reviews from viewers, concluded in 2016.
In 2021, the studio renewed the show for two more seasons with the original cast members returning to their respective roles. The third season is over as well, and it only gave us 14 great episodes.
World Trigger Season 4: Release Date
Season 4 of the World Trigger anime has not been confirmed by Toei Animation. Accordingly, the Japanese animation probably likely be picked up for another season.
The third season of World Trigger was met with the same positive reception as the first two. Even more so, some viewers consider Season 3 to be the series’ best instalment to yet. Before deciding to make a brand new season of World Trigger, Toei Animation had intended to release the second cour of the second season.
We don’t know when the next season will premiere without hearing it from Toei themselves. Still, a new season could arrive in the first half of 2023 if the studio has plans to revive the show.

Who is Likely to Return in Season 4?
Nothing is confirmed as of now but we can expect the cast of previous seasons to reprise their role. It includes:

- Tomo Muranaka feature Yuuma Kuga
- Nao Tamura performs Chika Amatori
- Hideyuki Tanaka serves as the narrator
- Brian Doe represents Osamu Mikumo
- Yûichi Nakamura presents Yuichi Jin
What Could Happen in World Trigger Season 4?
The story focuses on the citizens of Mikado City who, despite continuing to get into brawls with their neighbours on occasion, have moved on with their lives and returned to their normal routines. The establishment of limits is currently seen as increasingly common practise.
One day, a mysterious youngster with white hair and the name Yma Kuga shows up at the local school in order to enrol in classes. For the sake of concealing his true identity, Kuga has become one of Border’s most formidable humanoid Neighbors.
Osamu Mikumo, another student at the university, is currently working as a C-class Border trainee. Mikumo’s role is to follow Kuga about Mikado City and keep him hidden from the Border Guards. This is necessary due to the fact that Kuga is completely oblivious to city life.

Why There Was a Gap Between the Seasons?
There is no avoiding the manga artist Daisuke Shihara’s health problems. Mangaka has suffered from a number of ailments, including digestive troubles after having his gall bladder removed and cervical spondylosis (wear and tear damaging the spinal discs in the neck).
Longest pause occurred between November 2016 and October 2018. Daisuke, meanwhile, has taken two separate 30-day sabbatical this year.
In 2020, a preliminary version of Chapter 197 was made available online. Then Daisuke took a hiatus until Chapters 198 and 199 came out on August 3, 2020. On September 3, 2020, Chapters 200 and 201 appeared in the same magazine issue.
On January 3, 2021, Daisuke was back on track with his monthly plan, having completed World Trigger Chapter 204.
Just one month into 2021, it was announced that World Trigger would be on sabbatical. It was declared in the beginning of 2021. After the manga was pulled offline, Jump Square magazine did not release a new chapter until February 4, 2021.
The official World Trigger Twitter account confirmed the author experienced “sudden sickness,” but they assured their followers that he had not contracted COVID-19.

Another monthlong hiatus for World Trigger began on March 29, 2021, due to continued health difficulties. The World Trigger manga was absent from the May 2021 edition of Jump Square. In June of 2021, though, it was returned. With the release of Season 3 of World Trigger set for the upcoming Fall 2021, the manga’s creator will have more time to catch up to the anime.
The first few chapters of World Trigger 2022 stumbled out of the gate. On December 27, 2021, Jump Square announced that starting with their January 4, 2022 edition, they would no longer be publishing the World Trigger.
