After Britney Spears deactivated her incredibly famous Instagram account late last week, many of her admirers were left wondering what her future plans might be regarding her presence on social media.
Now that a few days have passed and a few tweets have been published, it is abundantly evident that we can likely anticipate more of the same from the pop sensation, but this time on Twitter rather than Instagram. After a hiatus of more than seven months during which she did not post any tweets, Spears has now provided her audience with five, including a thread, since she quit Instagram.
When Britney Spears Deleted Her Instagram?
Britney Spears, who is 40 years old, cancelled her account on Thursday, just a few days after she criticised her father, Jamie, 70, and her mother, Lynne, 67, for treating her “like a f—king dog” during her 13-year conservatorship.
On Tuesday, she captioned a post that has since been deleted with the following: “Why did you and the family go along with it and treat me like a f–king dog ???”
She continued by questioning her father’s specialness, saying, “WHAT MAKES YOU SO GODDAMN SPECIAL ??? WHAT MAKES YOUR OTHER DAUGHTERS SO GODDAMN SPECIAL THAT YOU TREATED ME LESS THAN A F–KING DOG ???”

Additionally, Britney asserted that Jaime “always told me I was fat so I never felt pretty or good enough.”
Spears has discussed some of the trauma she has as a result of the abuse she has suffered over the course of her career on multiple occasions, and she has in the past deleted her Instagram account. Spears was finally able to regain control of her life and finances in November of the previous year when a judge in Los Angeles finally ended the 13-year conservatorship that had been placed on her.
What Caused Her to Condemn Her Mother?
She made the remarks a day after she criticised her mother for allegedly beating her “so hard” for staying out too late partying while her two sons were in her care. “The first time I ever got slapped was the one night Paris Hilton and Lindsay [Lohan] dropped me off at my beach house with my babies,”, she revealed in a now-deleted Instagram post.
She went on, saying, “My mother was watching Jayden and Preston…yes I partied till like 4am and my mother was PISSED !!!! I walked in, she looked at me and hit me so hard that I will never forget it !!!”
After the singer remarked that “a genuine apology would help give [her] closure” her estranged mother attempted to apologise to her.
Britney ordered the family matriarch to “go f-k” herself after hearing Lynne’s pleading, and she continued talking about the pain she went through up until her conservatorship ended in November 2021.
“For 13 years, I had to meet doctors weekly to bring up my past which made it worse !!!” Britney started the post by saying she had been a “mother f-king Saint” for fear of retribution.

“Not one mother f–king person stood up for me !!! Mom take your apology and go f–k yourself !!!” she continued. “And to all the doctors for f–king with my mind … I pray you all burn in hell !!! Kiss my mother f–king ass ???? !!!!”
Her Thoughts on Her Newest Song
On Twitter, where she hadn’t commented since before her wedding, Spears wrote a lengthy statement. She talked about how wonderful and overwhelming it is to be releasing a new song with such a legendary artist as Elton John.
“Okie dokie … my first song in 6 years,” she wrote. “It’s pretty damn cool that I’m singing with one of the most classic men of our time @eltonofficial. I’m kinda overwhelmed… it’s a big deal to me !!! I’m meditating more and learning my space is valuable and precious !!!”
