During the reunion in the year 2020, the actor also said that Hallie is more akin to her and that people responded differently to her when she was portraying Annie. According to Lohan, “I feel like people treated me differently when I was Annie because Annie was so much nicer, and Hallie was kinda like me,”.

How Does She Feel While Switching Role?

As Lohan had to portray two different characters, she needed two sets of wigs and two sets of outfits for each role. The performer claims that there was another factor that made switching between Annie and Hallie difficult while they were filming: her nail polish.

In an interview with Vogue, Lohan said, “I was so strong on the fact that I had to wear nail polish as Hallie, and it had to be the blue Hard Candy. I regretted that later because, when I had to switch over between both characters, it was a nightmare for everyone.”

In spite of this, when they got together again, Lohan referred to The Parent Trap as a “really incredible learning experience.”

How Does Fans Feel About the Movie?

The news that Lohan had appeared in Parent Trap broke during an episode of Life in Looks that was published in the April 2022 issue of Vogue. In this segment, Lohan reflected on some of the most memorable moments in her fashion career. Lohan also said,“As a young girl, I was always really into fashion,” She said this while praising the Nicole Miller outfit that she wore to the premiere of The Parent Trap in 1998.

Others, on the other hand, were staunch supporters of Hallie. Another Twitter user made a joke by saying,  “I absolutely adored and envied Hallie, and maybe that’s because I, too, wanted to live on a vineyard with my single father and a longtime housekeeper named Chessy in Napa Valley, California,”.
