The original Classroom of the Elite was written by Shgo Kinugasa and released as a light novel series between 2015 and 2019, but the series has now branched out into a manga with its own continuing light novel sequel series.
The story is told from the point of view of Kiyotaka Ayanokji, a shy and unassuming young man who becomes entangled in numerous situations after meeting Suzune Horikita and Kiky Kushida. In 2017, an anime adaptation of the series was released. Season 2 premiered in 2022, and season 3 is scheduled for 2023. Everything you need to know about the forthcoming third season of Classroom of the Elite will be covered in this post.
Classroom of the Elite Season 3: Release Date
Both the first season, which aired from July 12, 2017, to September 27, 2017, and the second season, which aired from July 4, 2022, to September 26, 2022, each feature twelve episodes each.
Fans had high hopes that a second season would be announced soon after the conclusion of the first because there is more than enough material to adapt from the 14 volumes of the original series and the 8 volumes of the sequel. However, the reality was somewhat different.
In particular, while airing at the same time as Demon Slayer and Jujutsu Kaisen, Classroom of the Elite never achieved the same level of popularity. Although the show’s audience was relatively modest, its followers are extremely loyal, which may explain the delay in announcing a renewal
Now that we’ve taken this trip down memory lane and Season 2 is nearly complete, we can say with confidence that Classroom of the Elite will return for a third season in 2023. The exact release date of season 3 is yet to be confirmed.. Even if the second season is winding down and we have yet to hear any official word on the third, at least we know it’s coming back and when it’s coming back.

What Will Be the Storyline of Season 3?
As of right now, we have no idea how far the third season of Classroom of the Elite could go because we have no idea how many more volumes of the light novel series it could adapt. Here is the plot of the anime series.
Kdo Ikusei High School is widely regarded as Japan’s finest academic institution. It represents Japanese brilliance with ultramodern facilities and state-of-the-art equipment, a 100 percent admittance rate to the Grandes Ecoles, and a guarantee of getting the desired employment. Here, points are used in place of currency to purchase any item on the menu (food, games, consoles, etc.).
Each student begins school with a starting balance of 100,000 points, or 100,000 JPY. Kdo Ikusei High School appears to be a utopia at first look, but in reality, only the Elite of pupils receive preferential treatment, while the rest are subject to supremacy.

Based on their cumulative point totals, the courses are classified as either A, B, C, or D, with A being the highest and D the lowest. Furthermore, any student who receives a written exam grade lower than or equal to fifty percent of the class average would be dismissed from the institution. Kiyotaka Ayanokji is assumed to have been “negligent” on his entrance exam for “some” reason.
Class D is the absolute bottom tier of the school, and he has been sent there along with all the other “inferior” kids so that they can be mocked. Kiyotaka Ayanokji forms an alliance with two of the females in his class, Suzune Horikita and Kiky Kushida, in an effort to raise the group’s average grade and, by extension, their overall point total.
At the start of the third semester, all of the MHSAE students are transported to a remote mountain facility. Mixed Training Camp is the official moniker for the next special examination. Splitting first-year students into six distinct gender-based cohorts. There is also the requirement of interacting with students.
The leader of the group that gets here last will be ejected, while the top scorers in the three groups will receive bonus points. Everyone is nervous about the upcoming special exam because failure could result in expulsion. The students are free to form their own study groups however they see fit. A stormy situation is caused by emotional tensions in which rivals must work together.

The animation was inspired by Shogo Kinugasa’s and Tomose Shunsaku’s light book. Chapters focus on different times during the protagonist’s high school career. The first year was published in 14 volumes, beginning in May 2015 and ending in September 2019.
The second instalment, titled “Year 2,” premiered in 2020 and is still going strong. Both stories have been adapted into manga, with Kawaisounako drawing the first volume and Shia Sasane the second.
