A new Cars spin-off is coming to Disney+, produced by Pixar, after three features and two animated shows for the company’s streaming service. In a nine-part cartoon series, the anthropomorphic talking automobiles Lightning McQueen and Mater will return to the road.
Pixar first teased the show in December of last year and then confirmed its existence a few months later. An announcement that characters from the Planes film series would appear in the show was made public after it aired in 2009. In the near future, a brand new show will premiere.

Cars on the Road: Release Date
According to decider, To celebrate Disney+ Day on September 8, 2022, Cars On The Road will premiere exclusively on the service. Lightning McQueen and Mater’s escapades will be featured in nine new episodes of the animated series.
New material from Marvel, Pixar, Star Wars, Disney, and National Geographic will be premiered as part of the celebration. Fans and subscribers will also be able to participate in unique events at the venue. In order to keep up with the Pixar shows, Disney+ releases fresh content around 3 am ET/ 12 am PT.
Mater’s Tall Tales (2008-2012) and Tales from Radiator Springs (2004-2008) are the last two animated series based on the Cars franchise (2013-14). In addition to Steve Purcell, Bobby Podesta, and Brian Fee, Jake Monaco composed the music for all nine episodes of the spin-off.

Who Will Be the Cast Members?
Actors Owen Wilson and Daniel Lawerence Whitney, also known as Larry the Cable Guy, are returning to reprise their roles as Lightning McQueen and Tow Mater from the Car franchise.
Compared to Wilson, Larry the Cable Guy has starred in three Blue Collar comedy-Tour-related films, including Larry the Cable Guy: Health Inspector, Delta Farce, and Witless Protection.
The series is rumored to be expanding its scope to include new locations and new characters. The new series will feature characters from the Cars spin-off flicks Planes (2013) and Planes: Fire & Rescue (2014) in addition to the existing characters from the franchise.
