To counteract everything else going wrong in 2020, many people just wanted some lighter comedy to lighten their mood. After all, a white Midwestern family relocating into an African-American-dominated Pasadena, California neighborhood wouldn’t save the world as it did in shows like The Walking Dead and The Flash.
Thankfully, the sitcom’s third season began airing later in the year and appeared to have successfully rectified the situation. Consequently, it shouldn’t be surprising that CBS quickly renewed the show for a fourth season, which will begin airing in February 2021.
This indicates that viewers will witness other antics within the improbable friendship shared by Calvin Butler and Dave Johnson. If you have been a devoted viewer of The Neighborhood for the past few years, here is a list of everything regarding season 4.
Does The Neighborhood Season 4 Indicate The Storyline of Season 5?
In the last episode, Dave confronts the racial background of his family. In spite of Gemma’s assurances, Calvin was plainly angry, and Dave felt he had to make up for it with his Couz by apologizing for what he had done.
He offered Calvin Dodgers tickets in the second row, behind home plate, as a sort of restitution and nearly broke his back clearing out the Butlers’ gutters.
In the end, Calvin made the decision to forgive Dave. Having discussed it with Tina, Calvin came to the conclusion that he shouldn’t take out his resentment on Dave for something that none of them can change about their family background. Dave’s good character was also praised as he ran down a list of the things he had done (or sought to do) for the town since he and his family had initially moved to the area from Kalamazoo in the first place.
In the days following Trey’s arrest, Calvin recalled that he marched with the group. For the sake of the residents of this area, you went for public office.” You were kicked in the ass, but you ran! As far as I’m concerned, you are more like a second cousin than a sixth cousin.”
We may expect the storyline to continue fro where season 4 left.

Who Was in the Cast of the Neighborhood Season 4?
Cedric the Entertainer and Max Greenfield are set to return as Calvin and Dave, respectively, as the show’s stars. In addition, Beth Behrs, Tichina Arnold, Hank Greenspan, Sheaun McKinney, and Marcel Spears should all be cast as Dave’s wife Gemma, Calvin’s wife Tina, and Dave’s son Grover, and Calvin’s younger son Marty.
Comedic actors Wayne Brady, Gary Anthony Williams, Brian Posehn, Riki Lindhome, and Marla Gibbs appeared as guest stars on the show.
We’re still hoping that Max Greenfield will get a visit from one of his former New Girl co-stars when the show returns for its fifth season in 2015. Anyone else on The Neighborhood would be an excellent addition to the already impressive group.
