What Happened to Emily Ratajkowski and Sebastian Bear Mcclard?
After four years of marriage, Emily Ratajkowski and Sebastian Bear-McClard have separated. It has been learned from a source close to Ratajkowski that the couple has broken up.
“They recently broke up. Em made the call. She’s doing fine, thank you. She is a strong woman who is completely devoted to her son. She adores being a mother ” Earlier this week, the model was not wearing a wedding ring while conducting errands, sparking questions about their future together.
After they were spotted kissing on Valentine’s Day in 2018, the two were first linked romantically. After just a few weeks of dating, the model and producer got married in a surprise ceremony in New York City’s City Hall.
Sylvester Apollo was born in March 2021, the couple’s first child together. In an appearance on Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight Show after their wedding, the I Feel Pretty star revealed that she first rejected her unconventional proposal.
“He proposed to me at Minetta Tavern and he didn’t have a ring, so I was like mmm, nah,” she revealed. When the bill was paid, “he took the paper clip that was used to pay the bill and created me a ring, which I honestly thought was romantic.”
With regards to their wedding bands, they went with something a little more unusual. An ounce of gold was purchased in New York City’s Chinatown area by the actor, who was planning to melt it down and make rings. They went to an Israeli jewelry designer for assistance when Ratajkowski failed to see it as a viable strategy.
“After hours, we went into his studio and hammered them out with a blow torch, like a real hammer. Initially, they were meant to be temporary rings, but I’ve become attached to them and don’t want to part with them any time soon! Making it yourself, could you do a better job of being personal?”

On social media, Ratajkowski has shared a second engagement ring with two huge diamonds. Diamonds in square and pear shapes are arranged on a single band to provide the illusion of unity. The actress posed with them next to her gold wedding band in a few photos, and they looked great together.
Ratajkowski explained to Fallon that she and her fiance planned a low-key wedding, and that the yellow Zara suit she wore to the ceremony was meant to help her blend in.
It was all part of her plan to not be seen, she explained to Fallon, that she didn’t really know what I always wanted to do, which is why I wore a mustard yellow suit and a black hat.” “I’m married to The Fat Jew — The Fat Jew on Instagram—and he’s one of my best friends from high school, so we’ve known each other since we were kids. That white sweatshirt-like outfit he was wearing made me think he was the decoy.”
She was, of course, spotted. She laughed and said, “It really didn’t work out quite as I imagined.”

On her wedding day, Ratajowski posted a picture of herself and her new spouse to her Instagram account. “I got married today,” she posted in a message on her Facebook page. Photographer Bear-McClard is seen in the photo embracing and kissing a model’s cheek. Bear-McClard flashed two rings with the letters “EM” and “RATA” on them on his fingers.
Ratajkowski announced her pregnancy in an essay for Vogue. She began her essay by explaining why she doesn’t want to share the gender of her unborn child.
“Everyone usually asks, “Do you know what you want?” when my husband and I tell our friends we’re expecting. According to us, the gender of our child will be revealed to us when they are 18 years old “she stated in her blog post for the Gone Girl film adaptation.
“The whole town is laughing at this,” she said. “Even still, there’s something true about this statement that suggests our child’s genitalia may not be the most important part of his or her identity: the fact that we have no idea who or what is growing inside my womb. What is the identity of this person? What kind of child will we raise?
She went on to say, “I don’t like that we push gender-based prejudices on adults, let alone babies. “I aspire to be the kind of parent who lets their child be themselves in front of me.
And yet, while I desire for my child to be able to make their own way in the world, I recognize that even before they can talk or, god forbid, be born, they will be subject to the irrefutable limits and constructs of gender.”

Then, Ratajkowski stated that she was adamant “Prior to learning this new way of looking at things, I would label myself as “superstitious.” A coping method one develops to help oneself feel more in control is called “magical thinking,” which is the concept that one can ‘jinx’ something or project one’s thoughts in a specific way to bring about a certain result.”
The model recently celebrated the first birthday of her son Sylvester Apollo. To celebrate Sylvester’s first birthday, Ratajkowski shared a glimpse of the baby’s first year of life on Instagram. It was “1 year of Sly” that she wrote on the note. I want to wish a happy birthday to my precious son.
“The most amazing day of my life,” Ratajkowski gushed, was the day her baby was born. “He has brought me love and magic I’d never dreamed,” she added.
Some photos from her son’s party were also released, including one of the infants smiling at his multicolored cake and another showing him standing in front of balloons spelling out his name.
Along with a sweet snapshot of herself and Bear-McClard, mom wrote, “We enjoy being your parents.” There’s no way to put it into words.
