Hawkeye Season 2: Possible Release Date and Marvel Confirmation in 2022!
After a remarkable holiday experience, Clint Barton and Kate Bishop eventually left after the first season of Hawkeye. Cameos are made by Yelena Belova and Kingpin from Daredevil in the first season of Hawkeye. The title character, Clint, is a retired Avenger who is struggling with his demons. Kate Bishop is playing the role of a superhero.
To our great relief, everything turned out okay in the end. After the events of “Avengers: Endgame,” the Marvel series began airing on Disney on November 24, 2021, and it ran until December 22, 2021, before coming to an end.
Hailee Steinfeld’s performance as Kate Bishop, which debuted in the most recent installment of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, was a joy to see, and the entire series had an upbeat vibe. So, what does the future hold for Clint Barton and Kate Bishop?
The Plot That We All Expect
The first season of Hawkeye purposely left some questions unanswered, which gave the impression that Clint Barton and his new partner, Kate Bishop (also known as Lady Hawk, Hawk Eve, Hawk Shot, and Lady Arrow), may go on as Hawkeye in future seasons. It is currently unknown whether or not that tale will continue into the second season of Hawkeye.
But there is one thing that cannot be disputed: Kate will soon be working with the Avengers. Because Marvel has been hinting at a Young Avengers team for some time, Hailee Steinfeld’s character may soon be seen on the big screen alongside Wanda’s children, Ant-daughter, Man, and plenty of other new heroes who look set to replace the golden oldies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
It has been previously stated by Marvel that the planned spinoff program for Echo would be affected by the events that take place in the first season of Hawkeye. Alaqua Cox’s character had been rehabilitated by the time the first season concluded, setting her up to be a morally questionable vigilante in the vein of Marvel’s Netflix roster when her new show debuts.
Who Are the Cast Members Confirmed for Season 2 of Hawkeye?
Jeremy Renner’s role in Hawkeye season two is the biggest mystery surrounding the upcoming season. The events of the first season have, in many respects, set the stage for Hailee Steinfeld’s character, Kate Bishop, to eventually assume the mantle of the original Hawkeye.
We shouldn’t immediately discount the possibility of Jeremy making an appearance, even though Hailee’s return is, without a doubt, a done deal. Renner may yet have a role to play in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as the producer Trinh Tran has stated (though we assume his presence will be less significant in the future).
In an interview with CinePOP, Tran shared the following explanation: “There are always new things to say, particularly when it comes to Clint Barton.” There is still a great deal more to learn. The fact that we get to collaborate with Jeremy despite this is quite exciting. All we can do now is wait and see what develops.
He is the only one who completely grasps who Clint Barton is, and he is enamored with the part that he plays. I believe that several choices are available. We’ll have to wait and see what unfolds.” There is also a great deal of mystery around Kingpin, the character that Vincent D’Onofrio plays in both Hawkeye and Daredevil, which can be found on Netflix.
In the final issue of the renowned Hawkeye comic series written by Matt Fraction, the Kingpin gathered a group of criminals and remarked, “It appears that we are in the business of killing Avengers.” However, near the conclusion of Hawkeye, Echo threw a wrench in the works by shooting him off-screen, which gave the appearance that he had been killed instead.

But does Kingpin actually exist in the afterlife, or will he one day reappear, wounded but still alive? The second option is the one we’re going with. Have you seen how he warded off all of those arrows that were aimed at his chest?
If that turns out to be the case, look for him to make a return appearance in either the second season of Hawkeye or Echo’s spinoff program. We can only hope that Kate’s new best friend, Yelena Romanoff (played by Florence Pugh), will come to offer her assistance while carrying a bottle of hot sauce.
Expected Release Date
The majority of television shows return for a second season between 12 and 18 months after the first, but Marvel shows are part of a far longer plan that encompasses the Marvel Cinematic Universe as a whole. As a consequence of this, it is much more challenging to determine when a story like Hawkeye will return, or even if it will be brought back to life at all.
It is not inconceivable that these characters could make a cameo appearance in another movie or on another television show. If the second season of Hawkeye is produced, we anticipate that it will premiere no earlier than the year 2023 at the earliest.
What Happened at the End of Hawkeye?
A season 2 is unlikely, but Hawkeye’s ending allows for further stories about its characters. To finish off the Tracksuit Mafia in Hawkeye Episode 6, Clint Barton and Kate Bishop teamed up one last time.

After Kazi attempted to assassinate Eleanor for Kingpin during her holiday dinner, a fight broke out. The Tracksuit Mafia confronted Clint and Kate after they had left the party. Kate used her trick arrows to knock Kingpin out of his throne and free her mother.
Yelena Belova and Echo also stepped up to the plate, but each had their own goals in mind as they fought. As for Echo and Yelena, Echo was out for blood for the death of her father, and Yelena was out for revenge on Clint for killing her sister.
After Kingpin’s fight with Kate, Echo followed down and killed Kazi. Despite the villain’s best efforts, the audience heard a gunshot as the camera turned away from him and Echo.
In the end, Clint won Yelena over by convincing her that Natasha had decided to sacrifice herself in Avengers: Endgame. Because of their shared love for Natasha, they were fast friends—until Yelena vanished.
Eleanor was arrested at the end of the finale for Armand Duquesne III’s murder. With their families, Clint and Kate also had a wonderful holiday season. That said, even without a Season 2, we can expect more Hawkeye stories from Marvel in the coming months and years.

Frequently Ask Questions
Is Hawkeye a Limited Series?
If Hawkeye’s limited run is anything like that of WandaVision and Falcon and the Winter Soldier, then a second season isn’t likely. Marvel, on the other hand, can be even more devious than Yelena, especially when it comes to the future of its superhero projects.
How Old Is Hawkeye in the Series?
“Echoes,” the third episode of Hawkeye’s first season, opens with Barton disclosing that he has been Hawkeye for 20 years. The actor that plays him (Jeremy Renner) was born in 1971, making him 50 years old at the time of production.
Is Jeremy Renner Done as Hawkeye?
Even though Renner may not be interested in watching the Avengers: Infinity War climax, it appears that his MCU career is far from over. The miniseries, which is presently available on Disney+, features Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye once more.
