When Will Resident Evil Be Released on Netflix?

Since its inception in 1994 as a Capcom Playstation 1 horror game project, Resident Evil has been a gaming classic. Resident Evil was the winner of internal business competition to pick the best name for the game’s sequel.

It was Resident Evil that made a name for itself in the horror/sci-fi genre by telling the stories of a variety of characters through the lens of a single overarching theme. Jill Valentine and Clair Redfield are two of the best-known characters in the series, as are Chris Redfield, Jill Valentine, and Leon Scott Kennedy.

As the computer game acquired worldwide acclaim, there was a strong desire for a film version. Constantin Films, a German production company, obtained the rights to develop movies and television shows based on the video game brand in January 1998.

A team of survivors from the Umbrella Corps facility, including Alice, were working together to eliminate the T-Virus from the planet.

What Will Be the Storyline of Resident Evil?

The two Wesker children will be the focus of a new series that will span two historical periods. Netflix has verified the following plot lines in an official announcement:

A fourteen-year-old sister and her younger sister were relocated to New Raccoon City in the first timeline. They are forced to live in a constructed, corporate town at the height of their adolescence. However, the more time they spend there, the more they begin to suspect that the town and their father may be hiding more than meets the eye. World-ending secrets are at stake here.

Only fifteen million people are left on Earth in the second timeline, which is more than a decade in the future. And there are more than six billion T-virus-infected monsters—humans and animals alike. Even at thirty, Jade’s prior secrets – about her sister, her father, and even about herself – continue to stalk and hinder her in this New World.

Since the very first Resident Evil game, Albert Wesker has been a vital component of the Resident Evil universe. What happens to Billie is unknown, although teeth and mutation are certain to play a role.
