The official synopsis is as follows:

Even though Cassie and Luke are quite different people, Luke stepped in when his friend refused to help out. Despite their differences, they want to maintain the image of a family so that they can both benefit from the larger salary. Even though they have a lot of issues with one other and the situation, the two continue to fall in love with each other.
