The series’ creators, the Duffer Brothers, announced in February that the next fifth season will be the series’ final one. This season’s filming was delayed by the coronavirus outbreak, but in an interview with Variety, the brothers stated that the gap between the fourth and fifth seasons will be far short.

When Will Stranger Things Season 5 Be Released?
Harbour hinted in an interview with Gold Derby that Stranger Things will be renewed for a fifth season. “But somehow,” they added, “Finn Wolfhard (Mike) — who is one crazy smart kid — correctly guessed what it was going to be about. But aside from Finn, no one else knows!”

How Many Episodes Will There Be in Season 5?
Stranger Things has had eight or nine episodes in each of its previous seasons, so it’s reasonable to expect that the final season will continue this trend.
