Aashram 3 Release Date: Why Did Bajrang Dul Want to Stop Production?

Aashram 3

Final episodes of a beloved show are often difficult to see. However, if the fate of a certain title is still up in the air after the conclusion of a series, people will continue to feel anxious.

An excellent example of this is fans of the hit web series ‘Aashram,’ which debuted in late August 2020 and quickly racked up over 100 million views in just five days, before racking up a further 400 million by the time season 2 was released a few months later.

18 months later, MX Player has finally confirmed the release date for Aashram season 3 and released a brand new trailer for the series!

When Will Aashram 3 Release?

A new trailer for Aashram season 3 was released on May 14th, by MX Player on their YouTube page. Season 3 of the hit show will premiere on Friday, June 3rd, according to a new teaser.

Over 2.2 million people have watched it so far, with the caption, “Baba Nirala – Swaroopi or Beharupi? Whether or not Baba’s secret is exposed

All episodes from Season 3 were confirmed to be released on June 3rd, although the number of episodes was not. Season 3 will have a total of nine episodes, as did seasons 1 and 2, so fans shouldn’t be surprised.

Who Will Be Back in Aashram 3?

Season 1 and Chapter 2’s original cast members will be retained for Season 3 as well. However, Jha has stated that there will be a few unexpected appearances from previous seasons.

“We gave the sub-plots and the various characters their due importance, which is why we could make it so engaging. Even then, I did not imagine that Ashram would receive the kind of acclaim that it did. Several key characters will also make a comeback in the new season,” he said.

The old cast members include:

What Will Be the Plot of Aashram 3?

Baba Nirala (Bobby Deol) becomes brutal in his quest for dominance following the events of Ashram 1. As he preys on ladies in need of salvation, he relies on crooked politicians to protect his reputation.

Because of his skill as a conman, he is able to keep his true objectives hidden from the public and put on a show of decency in front of his followers. One of the cops, Ujagar Singh, sets out to find and apprehend Baba Nirala, who doesn’t appear to be who he claims to be. An additional catalyst for the plot is Ashram’s graveyard, which contains a number of skeletons and corpses.

Whether or if the cop will uncover Baba’s crimes is still up in the air. With some of his followers abandoning him, others seek retribution in the unraveling of the mystery.

Season 3 is expected to be the show’s culmination, with Baba’s identity revealed. However, it’s not certain if Ashram Chapter 3 will be the final or if the makers will continue to reveal their dark ambitions!

“Ek Badnaam Aashram revolves around the megalomaniac baba, who continues to bend every rule to suit himself and has become a power-hungry adversary. He believes to be above all and thinks he’s God.

The power of Aashram is at its peak. This ‘badnaam’ Aashram continues to exploit women, indulge in the drug trade, and control the politics of the town. On the other hand, Pammi is having sleepless nights to seek revenge from Bhagwaan Nirala. Will Ujagar Singh be able to help Pammi seek justice and expose the ‘badnaam’ Aashram?” – Season 3 preview, via MX Player YouTube.

Is Aashram Based on True Events?

The Ashram is a work of fiction, according to the film’s creators, and any resemblance to real-life individuals is purely coincidental. The tale, on the other hand, appears to be based on the genuine stories of a few Indian Godmen.

For example, Dera Sacha Sauda cult leader Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh was found guilty of rape and murder in 2017 after being tried as an adult. Due to his frequent attendance at music festivals and his affinity for connecting with the younger generation, fans have begun to compare Baba Nirala to Gurmeet.

Many feel that the Aashram trilogy tells the story of Baba’s ascent to power and collapse.

The Ashram series isn’t the only one with a tainted past that has been elevated to celebrity status by its adherents. Nithyananda, Asaram Bapu, Swami Vikasanand, and Swami Bhimanand are some of the most well-known devotees of this religion. Every one of them has a checkered past that includes robbery, rape, pilferage, and connections to influential people.

Why Did Bajrang Dul Want to Stop Production?

The third chapter in Baba’s story has already been a controversial production due to the reported vandalism of the set on October 25th, 2021.

A number of vehicles on the site were destroyed, but happily, no one was killed, according to the Asian News International media outlet. The vandals threw ink in the director’s face, according to Filmfare.

Activists from Bajrang Dul, according to online reports, were behind the vandalism, which they said was motivated by Aashram’s “misrepresentation of Hindus.”

Fortunately, production resumed soon after, indicating that the vandalism was not the primary factor in the delay of Aashram season 3.
