Monica Lewinsky Net Worth 2022

Monica Lewinsky’s net worth is estimated to be $1.5 million in 2022.

A former White House intern turned television personality, Monica Lewinsky also works as a fashion designer in the United States.

Lewinsky has been involved in several business initiatives, including creating a line of handbags in her name. Aside from that, she has also worked as a spokesman for a diet plan and as a television personality.

Early Life

Monica Camille Lewinsky was born on July 23, 1973, in San Francisco, California, as Monica Camille Lewinsky. With her mother Marcia (an author), father Bernard (an oncologist), and younger brother Michael, she grew up in a Jewish family in Los Angeles. Both Monica’s parents remarried after their nasty divorce in 1987. Sinai Akiba Academy, the John Thomas Dye School, Beverly Hills High School, and Bel Air Prep were all attended by Lewinsky before she graduated in 1991.

While attending Santa Monica College and working in the Beverly Hills High School Drama Department, she transferred to Lewis and Clark College in Portland. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in 1995.

The White House Office of Legislative Affairs hired Monica as a full-time employee in December 1995 after she had worked as an unpaid intern in Leon Panetta’s office since July 1995. She returned to school ten years later for her master’s degree in social psychology from the London School of Economics. She had come full circle.

The Scandal Involving the President

According to Lewinsky’s account, between November 1995 and March 1997, she had nine separate sexual encounters with Clinton, none of which included any physical contact.

That spring, Monica was sent to the Pentagon as a punishment for spending too much time with the president. She confessed her relationship with President Clinton to coworker Linda Tripp, who began secretly recording their phone conversations in September 1997.

Monica remained at the Pentagon until December 1997, and in an affidavit given in the Paula Jones case the following month, she denied any relationship with Clinton. She sought to get Linda to lie under oath. However, Tripp gave her tapes to Kenneth Starr, an independent counsel investigating the Clinton family’s Whitewater real estate interests during Clinton’s administration.

Tripp dissuaded Lewinsky from having a blue dress containing proof of a sexual encounter with Clinton dry cleaned and advised her to keep any presents he had given her.

As soon as the blue dress was in the hands of special counsel Robert F. Kennedy, President Clinton conceded that he had “a relationship with Miss Lewinsky that was not acceptable” despite previously denying it. As a result of Lewinsky and Clinton’s testimony before a grand jury, the Office of Independent Counsel gave Monica Lewinsky transactional immunity.
