Heartstopper Season 2: Release Date

On April 22, 2022, Netflix aired season one of ‘Heartstopper’ in its entirety. There are eight episodes in the first season, with a running time of about 30 minutes each.

Is there a prospect for a second season in the works? Netflix has yet to make an official announcement on whether or not the show will be renewed.

In contrast, the show’s executive producer, Alice Oseman, expects the show to run for a long time, suggesting a renewal is possible. “I’d like to see [many seasons]!” However, we are only commissioned for one season at this time. If season one is successful, we can hope for more!”

For future seasons, Oseman told the media, “It would probably be four seasons to cover the complete tale.” I haven’t done any detailed planning, but it’s very simple to arrange the books into seasons, so four should be enough.”

This show is most likely to be renewed if the first season’s audience meets Netflix’s expectations. If ‘Heartstopper’ is renewed soon, the second season will premiere in mid-2023.
