Poguelandia is excitedly awaiting the return of one of Netflix’s most buzzed-about shows, Outer Banks. The show got renewed for a third season only a few months after the conclusion of Outer Banks Season 2 last summer, thanks to our beloved Pogues.
In the Outer Banks of North Carolina, a group of young “Pogues” — individuals from the working class and, as John B. calls them, the “lowest member of the food chain” — go on an adventure. “Kooks” – the town’s wealthy elite — confront John B and his pals as they go on a mission to find out what really happened to his father, who mysteriously vanished.

Outer Banks has been officially renewed for a third season, so get ready to chant “Pogues for Life.” On December 7, Netflix announced the announcement on Twitter, almost four months after the release of OBX 2.
The tweet mentioned: “This just in from Poguelandia…Outer Banks will be back for a third season!”
The group seemed visibly thrilled about the next season in the video. “don’t call, don’t text. no service in poguelandia”

According to a press announcement, showrunners and executive producers Jonas Pate, Josh Pate, and Shanon Burke will return.

Is this the last season or will there be season 4?
Fans of this fantastic Netflix series will have to wait a little longer to see the fourth chapter of the series, which is now in production. Season 4 of Outer Banks hasn’t been given a release date yet. Netflix confirmed that Season 3 will be released soon and that Season 4 will certainly be renewed.
What will be the storyline of Outer Banks Season 3?
The creators of Outer Banks and Netflix are keeping their cards close to their chest, so we don’t know much about what will happen in season 3. However, there are certain facts that we know and others that we can reasonably infer.
During an interview show creators, Josh Pate and Shannon Burke stated: “John B’s relationship with his father is a significant topic. John B will have to reconcile his idealized vision of his deceased father with the reality of his alive father” when they meet again.
With no food and no means of transportation, the Pogues completed season 2 on a barren island. And Carla Limbrey, the season 2 villain, has formed an agreement with Big John, John B’s father, to get what they both desire. Will sworn foes turn into friends? That remains to be seen.
Showrunners have confirmed that there will be a lot more romance in the Pogues clan, particularly in regards to some long-awaited ties.
