The second season of Fate: The Winx Saga is currently in production, and it will feature a beloved character from the original cartoon series making her live-action debut.
Many fans were disappointed that Latina fairy Flora was not featured in the first batch of episodes, with her cousin Terra (Eliot Salt) seemingly taking her place at Alfea College. However, in their sophomore season, the writers are making amends by casting Paulina Chávez (The Expanding Universe of Ashley Garcia) in the lead role of Flora, a nature fairy.

What Is the Plot of Season 2 of Fate: the Winx Saga?
The first season of “Fate: The Winx Saga,” according to showrunner and executive producer Brian Young, was “just the tip of the iceberg.” Young said in a statement announcing the show’s renewal, “The six episodes in Season 1 only scratched the surface of this incredibly rich world and the powerful fairies who inhabit it.”
“I can’t wait for you to learn even more about Aisha, Stella, Terra, and Musa as Bloom’s story progresses!” And you never know who will show up at Alfea the following semester. Young’s statement doesn’t reveal much, but it sounds like we’ll be getting a lot of new content when the show returns.
The fallout from the events of the first season finale, which found Rosalind — newly released from prison after manipulating Bloom — back in charge of Alfea after murdering Dowling, will undoubtedly be addressed in the show’s second season.
There’s also Andreas’ return from the dead, which is shocking enough on its own but is complicated further by the revelation that he didn’t “die” as a war hero. Silva assassinated Andreas, believing he was about to wipe out an entire city of innocent people. He didn’t, however, die on that day.
Instead, he was nursed back to health and hidden until he could safely return and aid Rosalind in whatever nefarious plans she has for Alfea and the fairies.
These ongoing plot points, combined with Abigail Cowen’s promise of “more love stories, more magic, more fighting, bigger threats, and more questions being answered” during her Collider interview, indicate that Season 2 of “Fate: The Winx Saga” will be quite complex.
