Storyline of Your Lie In April

So now he can’t stand the sound of a piano any more.
In spite of the fact that he is surrounded by friends, Kosei begins to withdraw and grow distant. He hasn’t played or listened to the piano in two years. Then there is Kaori, a free-spirited violinist who changes his whole perspective on everything. With Kaori’s support, Kosei makes a comeback in the music industry, and in the process, he falls head over heels in love with her. It is not clear whether or not he is right.
After Kaori’s health begins to deteriorate, Kosei loses a loved one at a music recital for the second time. Kosei receives a letter from Kaori’s parents after her death, informing him of her final wishes. According to her, prior to her death, she wished to promote happiness and bring Kosei back into the spotlight of the music industry. As for her feelings for Kosei, she says that she has always wanted to play music with him.
