The Oval is a BET television series that is based on the popular soap opera of the same name created by Tyler Perry. Tyler Perry has a solid reputation in the industry; yet, the audience did not respond favorably to his show The Oval, and it garnered a great deal of negative feedback.

People gave it a bad rating and referred to it as a “Horrible piece of pulp” and “dreadful,” among other things. However, the reality is that the program is sluggish and that it improves gradually, but those who were impatient didn’t take into consideration the hard work that everyone put into the show and instead used a variety of derogatory terms to describe it.

Given that the drama series’ reappearance received a whopping 1.4 million viewers, it’s not a surprise that BET wanted the drama series to return in its entirety. Those who were patient and stayed with the show for the entire season praised it and expressed their desire for a fourth season.
