Gilded Age Season 2: It was recently announced that The Gilded Age, the 2022 American historical drama television series created by Julian Fellowes, will return for a second season. So yet, just four episodes have been broadcast from the first season’s nine-episode run on Syfy.
In accordance with reports from Variety mainly via HBO , Francesca Orsi, executive vice president of HBO Programming, issued a statement announcing the renewal of the series, which is produced by Neamo Film & Television Universal Television and backed by Julian Fellowes, Gareth Neame, Michael Engler, Salli Richardson, and David Crockett under the production banner of Neamo Film & Television.
The Gilded Age premiered on HBO on January 24, 2022, and was renewed for a second season in February of the same year.
Gilded Age Season 2 Announced.
It was recently announced that The Gilded Age would be renewed by HBO Programming by Francesca Orsi, executive vice president of HBO Programming, in a statement that read:
This storey of late nineteenth century New York City excess, told by Julian Fellowes and the entire ‘Gilded Age’ family, has completely captured us.” With our partners at Universal Television, we could not be more excited to begin on this season two adventure with this extremely talented crew.”
Furthermore, Erin Underhill, the President of Universal Television, expressed her delight at the announcement of the renewal of the series, which will continue to explore the depths of this fascinating era with HBO. The actress went on to say that the first season of The Gilded Age is the beginning of an epic saga that introduces a fascinating universe full of intriguing individuals, and that the scale of Julian’s vision is grand.
This was stated in the statement: “The first season of The Gilded Age marks the beginning of an epic saga that exposed viewers to a fascinating universe filled with intriguing characters.” “The scale of Julian’s vision is vast, and we are happy to be able to continue to delve into the depths of this fascinating age with HBO,” says the producer.
