That would mean that filming is done and the series is in post-production. As a guess, we’d say that the fourth season will come out in July 2022, as the third one did.

Over time, the crack got bigger, but it wasn’t infected. The root was dying, and the nerve was dying. Ouch.

Yes, filming could start for the fifth season this summer. At the very least, the movie could be out at the end of 2022. However, there’s no need to be too down about it, because season four is going to have more episodes to make up for it. Instead of 10 episodes, there will be 12 for fans to enjoy.

Season four of the show would likely have all of the main characters back: Mel (Alexandra Breckenridge), Jack (Martin Henderson), John, Charmaine, Doc, Hope, Brady, Brie, Lizzie, Ricky, and more.

Lilly, played by Lynda Boyd, died of pancreatic cancer in season three. Boyd has said that talks have taken place about bringing her back for season four.

Virgin River Season 4 Plot: What Will Happen?

At the end of season three, there were a lot of big questions about the Virgin River that will play a big role in the story going forward. Mel is having a baby, but it might not be Jack’s, because the baby might not be born. Her husband, Daniel Gillies, could be the father. She told TV Line: “You’ll know by the end of the fourth season.”
