Why Did Netflix Discontinue the Order Season 3?

During the second season of The Order, the show took us on a rollercoaster-like we’ve come to expect. With its new take on old ideas like werewolves, secret societies, magic, and horror, the Netflix original series has been a big hit with its fans.

The show is about a magical secret society called the Hermetic Order of the Blue Rose, a werewolf group called the Knights of Saint Christopher, and a young Belgrave University student named Jack Morton (Jake Manley). He keeps finding out that his family is even more connected to the dark arts than he thought.

Season 2 has an interesting plot, a fight between two werewolves who want to have Jack as their champion, and a lot of weird side stories. If there’s a third season, we can’t help but wonder what will happen. Everything we know about The Order season 3.

What Is the Release Date for the Order Season 3?

Unfortunately, there isn’t yet a set date for the third season of The Order. This isn’t always bad news. Netflix recently released season 2, and we’d be surprised if they didn’t want to keep making a show like The Order that had a lot of people excited about it. Most likely, it’s not a question of “if,” but “when.”

“However, we can also make a guess about “when,” thanks to the show’s release schedule, which has been more or less predictable. When the show first came out, it was in March 2019. Season 2 came out on June 18, 2020. So, it might be safe to say that season 3 is coming at some point in 2021.

It’s also possible that the current events in the world have caused production schedules to be thrown off. If this happens with The Order season 3, we might not be able to get our fix until 2022.

The Order: Season 3 Will Be About What?

Season 3 of The Order has a lot of interesting stories to follow. It looks like Midnight, Jack’s old werewolf hide, is going to start the season as a full-fledged bad guy after he ripped Alyssa’s throat open at the end of season 2. Since Midnight has Gabrielle, it’s likely that she’s not happy about this.

The Vade Marcum Infernal is a very powerful magical book that Jack took with him when he went into the woods with Alyssa’s bloody body. Is he planning to use its almost limitless power to try to get back to life? If he succeeds, will Alyssa come back the same? As Foris Factorum season 2 comes to an end, she will be able to use the powerful incantation again.

Another thing that season 3 will have to deal with is dealing with the most powerful magic this show has ever seen and the consequences that come with it. Vera, the grand magus, isn’t working right now. It used to be that Lilith was stuck in Hell for a long time in season 2.

She is now a demon herself. It will be interesting to see how they deal with their own problems and what other problems they and the other characters have to deal with. There’s a chance we’ll find out soon rather than later.
