Mufasa, Kion’s grandmother, guided them in their efforts to safeguard the kingdom.

Scar, Kion’s villainous uncle, reappeared in Season 2 with a plan to seize control of the country. He had previously served as the Lion Guard’s commander, but he had abused his position.
