The fifth season of MTV’s hit reality television series has been renewed. The television series, which premiered in 2017, chronicles the lives of four friends who live in Siesta Key, Florida. Regrettably, MTV has not yet announced whether or not the show will be renewed for a fifth season. The fifth season of “Siesta Key” is expected to premiere in the second quarter of 2022, based on prior reports that filming for the fourth season began in late 2020, six months before the show premiered on MTV. That is if the series is not renewed in the next months.
Tara Long is the executive producer for Entertainment One, while Daniel Blau Rogge and Jennifer Aguirre are the executive producers for MTV.
The television show is based on a previous MTV series, Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County, which chronicled the lives of Laguna Beach High School students.
When Will Siesta Key Season 5 Premiere in 2022?
MTV has not yet confirmed whether the television series will be renewed for a fifth season. The fifth season of “Siesta Key” is most likely to premiere in the second half of 2022, given that production on the fourth season began in late 2020, six months before it premiered on MTV. On May 12, 2021, the show’s fourth season premiered.
We’ll have to wait and see, as we’re not sure when we’ll be able to see the series. Season 4 concluded filming in August, approximately six months after it began. Season 5 has not been announced yet, but if the trend continues, we will have to wait a while longer to find out when it will air. It is quite likely that it will be published in 2022.

Season Recap of Siesta Key: What Transpired in Prior Seasons?
The series chronicles the lives of a group of friends in Sarasota, Florida. These wealthy children, descended from diverse wealthy families, are attempting to navigate and cope with a variety of interpersonal connections, including sexual attachments to one another, betrayal, jealousy, and heartbreak, to name a few.
According to the Herald-Tribune, Siesta Key Season 5 will likely focus on the tension between cast members Juliette Porter and Kelsey Owens over their competing swimsuit lines, as well as other tensions that surfaced during the series’ reunion, including the shocking discovery that Madison Hausburg was pregnant with her first child.
Who Can We Expect From the Siesta Key Season 5 Cast?
The cast of this reality television series includes the following:
Juliette Porter (One Tree Hill), Stephen Colletti (Archaon: The Halloween Summoning), Kristin Cavallari (Very Cavallari), Chloe Trautman (Very Cavallari), Lo Bosworth (The Hills), Lauren Conrad (Laguna Beach), and many more.
As evidenced by his previous Instagram photos, in which he was photographed shooting a shark, towing a live shark behind a boat, and engaging in typically racist and fat-phobic conduct, MTV chose to part ways with former lead cast member Alex Kompothecras.
Chloe Trautman, a former cast member, is also unlikely to resume the role, having previously stated that she believes reality shows are poisonous. And perhaps Trautman stepped away from the series for her own mental health.
