Outlander Season 6: Cast, Plot, Trailers, Spoilers & Updates for 2022!

Outlander Season 6? As soon as the Droughtlander is done, it will be over. It’s been almost two years since the last episode of Outlander season 5, and it’s been a long time. We left Fraser’s Ridge in a very precarious state. Claire was brutally assaulted by Lionel Brown and his militia, Roger and Brianna couldn’t return to their own time, and the Revolutionary War was just around the corner. A lot of people are excited for the new episodes.

The good news is that we know when Outlander’s next season will be released on Starz, as well as a lot of other things. Do not think about it anymore. Not any more hopeless dreams! We know when season 6 is coming, and we have a good idea of what to expect. Here’s everything we know in one place.

Outlander Season 6: Cast, Plot, Trailers, Spoilers & Updates for 2022!

This Is the Cast of Outlander Season 6

In terms of what characters we can expect to see in the next season, it should be obvious that Caitriona Balfe, Sam Heughan, Sophie Skelton, Richard Rankin, and John Bell will all be back. With out our main family, how would the show be? Lauren Lyle, César Domboy, and Chris Larkin will also be back.

Richard Brown will also be back. David Berry played Lord John Grey in the World Outlander Day video from last year, so it’s possible he’ll be back this season as well, even though Starz hasn’t said so. Season 6 will also have a lot of important new characters, like the Christie family, who we already know will cause problems at Fraser’s Ridge.

Mark Lewis-Jones plays the family patriarch, Thomas Christie. Alexander Vlahos plays his son Allan Christie, and Jessica Reynolds plays his daughter Malva Christie, who is also called Malva.

Outlander Season 6 Has a Synopsis

Another thing that Starz has done is give us a summary of the new season. Sounds like things are about to get very difficult. The Revolutionary War is about to start, and the Christies are making Fraser’s Ridge less peaceful. They keep fighting to protect the people they love in the sixth season of “Outlander.”

They also have to deal with the difficulties and trials of colonial life. People who move to the New World don’t always have a lot of luck setting up a home there, especially in North Carolina’s wild backcountry and during times of big political change.

The Frasers want to keep the peace and thrive in a society that Claire knows all too well is on its way to a revolution. When you look at this picture, you can see that Claire and Jamie have built a home together at Fraser’s Ridge. To protect this home they built on land given to them by the Crown, they must fight both outside forces and growing strife and conflict in their care.

A home is more than just a place where the Frasers live. It is where they are building their lives from now on, setting the foundation for the rest of their lives. Season 4 might have asked, “What is home?” During Season 5, the show asked, “What are you willing to do to protect your home?”

In Season 6, the show looks at what happens when there is a lack of harmony and unity among the people who live in the home you’ve built: when you become an outsider, or a “outlander,” as the show puts it.

A Trailer for Outlander Season 6

There is no hype train for a new show if there isn’t a trailer, and Outlander has one that is very good. As of mid-January, Starz had shown us the most recent official trailer for season 6. We had plenty of time to get excited about what was going to happen next! There are some glimpses of how the Christies are changing things at Fraser’s Ridge, how Brianna and Roger are adapting to life at the homestead, and a lot of shots of Jamie and Claire.

Check out: This season, it sounds like Jamie will be torn between his loyalty to the British Crown, which gave him the land where Fraser’s Ridge is built, and the Revolutionaries, who he knows will win the war because his time-traveling family knows the future.

Though, let’s be honest: Jamie has always done what he felt was right and helped people who had a cause he thought in. Was it ever in doubt that he’d turn against the British? He’s made friends with people who are fighting for the Revolutionaries, as well as Native Americans who live near Fraser’s Ridge. It starts at 9:00 p.m. ET/8:00 p.m. CT on March 6.

Outlander Season 6 Release Date

First, the most important thing to know: when will Outlander season 6 be on TV again? Starz has said that the show starts at 9:00 p.m. ET / 8:00 p.m. CT on Sunday, March 6. A 90-minute episode of Outlander is the first one, so it’ll be a full-blown Outlander night that night.

The production of COVID-19 has been pushed back, so Outlander season 6 will only have eight episodes instead of 10. Starz has already revealed the episode titles for the whole season, which we’ve put together in one place.

Don’t worry about how short the season is. Sam Heughan, who plays Jamie Fraser in the TV show, says that season 6 is “small but mighty.” And the show’s seventh season will have 16 episodes to make up for the difference. Outlander season 6 release date March 6, 2022.
