Prepare to tune into the new season of HBO’s teen drama Euphoria, which has premiered. And we, for one, couldn’t be happier. The gritty drama’s first season began in June 2019 and follows a group of teenagers as they experiment with sex, become entangled in the world of social media, and battle mental health.

Following the premiere of season one, HBO’s senior vice president of programming, Francesca Orsi, stated that the show has ‘created a fantastic world with an extraordinary ensemble led by the tremendously gifted Zendaya.’ Since the premiere of season one, Zendaya has garnered widespread appreciation for her portrayal of protagonist Rue Bennett, who struggles with drug addiction and mental health.

When Will the Second Season of Euphoria Be Released?

After season two was delayed owing to the pandemic, the show aired two special episodes in advance of the season’s premiere, depicting Bennett in the aftermath of a relapse. Season two premiered on January 9, 2022.
