Will there be a Season 2 of ‘Queens’?
No news has been released about the series’ future as of this writing (on February 15th). The result is that fans will have to wait to find out what the future has in store for their favourite queens.
The storey has the potential to take us in many different directions, especially given where we are right now. Plus, we’d really like to hear some new music; songs like Brandy’s “Until My Final Breath” and the “Girls Gonna Run That” by all four leads are examples of what makes Queens so distinctive.
When Season 2 is announced, what can we anticipate to see on the screen? More music, for sure, as it appears that the songs are the hill that the queens will die on. Certainly, more music is needed. Aside from that, we’ll be interested to see how Valeria’s newly discovered desire for motherhood and IVF treatments interacts with the group’s desire to go on tour and resurrect their image.
If she happens to be pregnant while on tour, that would undoubtedly provide some additional difficulties. And, of course, we want to know how Tina and Jill’s relationship, as well as Eric and Naomi’s relationship, are progressing.

Even while it’s probable that “Queens” will be revived for a second season, its long-term viability remains in doubt.
To determine if a show will be renewed for another season, the network typically examines all available information, including ratings and viewership. Queens received an average of a.29 rating in the 18-49 demographic throughout the course of its prior episodes, placing it in ABC’s lowest three shows, which doesn’t bode well for the show’s survival.
Because of the growing number of cable cutters, the show’s live audience averaged approximately 1.31 million viewers, which isn’t too awful considering the competition.
As an added bonus, the show has had favourable ratings in terms of Queens delayed viewings, which suggests that the series may have greater streaming potential than it does on live networks.
What’s more, the series has received numerous positive reviews as a result of its popularity. After receiving a perfect rating from critics on Rotten Tomatoes and a 68 percent rating from the viewers, it would be a pity if Queens were to be renewed for a second season.
There is a strong probability that Queens will be picked up by another network or perhaps a streaming service if it is cancelled. Maybe we’ll even be able to binge-watch the entire second season at once if that happens.
