The developers at Nearga have announced that Voidtrain will be released on consoles at some point in the future. However, as of right now, there are no specific plans for an Xbox One or PlayStation 4 version of the game. We only know that the developers hope to make Voidtrain available on platforms other than the PC in the near future.
This information comes from, of all places, the Voidtrain subreddit on Reddit. There, one of the game’s developers stated that a console version is in the works, but was unable to provide any additional information. Surprisingly, this appears to be the most information we’ve received about the game’s console plans thus far.
It’s a strange turn of events, considering that many game fans got their first glimpse of Voidtrain during the ID@Xbox presentation in early March. As a result, they may have assumed that the game would be coming to Xbox simply because of the association.
