Bharat Band Tomorrow: Farmers Call For Nationwide Strike As Their Protests Completes 4 Months

The Indian government has issued a new law for the farmers. Due to this law, the farmers have been protesting for 4 months across various parts of the nation. As of March 26, 2021, the farmers completes their 4 months of protesting at various borders. In the context of these protests, the farmer unions have appealed to the citizens of the country to make the March 26, 2021, Bharat Band a complete success. The Central Government has presented three laws in front of the farmers in context to which they have been protesting at Delhi’s borders for almost 4 months. But now to make sure that their protest will be a complete success they have urged for a complete nationwide strike.

Timings of strike

According to the sources it was found that the SKM has called a strike for a Bharat Bandh on March 26. The timings of the strike will be from 6 am to 6 pm.

Important things to know

As the strike will commence on March 26. So there are various such things that a common person needs to keep in mind during this strike. During the strike, all the roads and rail transport will remain closed. Along with this the markets and other public places will also be closed across the country. The farmer’s leader has appealed to the citizens to make this Bharat Band a success and honor their Annadata. Earlier the timings which were decided were from morning till evening. But now to look after the circumstances of the nation they have kept certain hours for the strike.

Exception in Bharat Bandh

The farmers who have been protesting across the nation. During this decision of strike, they have clarified that the states and Union Territories where Assembly Elections are going to take place. In these states and Union Territories, there will be no such strike on March 26, 2021. The farmer’s leaders have also said that they are also planning to burn copies of the new farm laws during Holika Dahan on March 28, 2021. But in Andhra Pradesh specifically, the ruling YSE Congress Party has extended support to Bharat Band Tomorrow. The party will protest against this decision of the central government. They have decided to privatize the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant.
