US report revealed: Journalist Jamal Khashoggi was killed at the behest of Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia

The Washington Post Journalist Jamal Khashoggi murder case has taken a twist. As the United States Intelligence agencies have not reported that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has a personal hand in the murder. This case helped in 2018. The United States Intelligence Agency has even published the reports regarding the case on Friday. Jamal Khashoggi was a Saudi Arabian dissident, author, columnist for The Washington Post, and a general manager and editor in chief of Al Arab News Channel. He was assassinated at the Saudi consulate in Istanbul. In Istanbul, the editor died. Now US intelligence agencies have been working a lot to find the truth behind the murder.

Four paged report

United States Intelligence agencies have revealed the four-page report. This report was released on Friday by the Office of the US Director of National Intelligence. The report titled Assessing the Saudi Government’s Role in the Killing of Jamal Khashoggi. This purely claims the conclusion that the journalist was killed at the behest of Prince Mohammad in October 2018. The details of the report are kept confidential to some extent. As everything was not revealed.

Details of the report

This report did not provide the details of the murder of Khashoggi’s body. His body was said to have been dismembered inside the Saudi consulate in Istanbul and disposed of elsewhere. This report has also concluded that Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman approved an operation in Istanbul, Turkey to capture or kill the journalist. However, the decision was taken by the prince as he viewed Khashoggi as a threat to the Kingdom. He even supported using violent measures. These measures were allowed to be taken only when necessary.

Members involved

According to the report it was found that there was a team of 15 members. They together have carried out the operation. The Intelligence of the United States has also informed that they had high confidence that these people participated in, ordered, or were otherwise complicit in or responsible for the deal of Journalist. The report has also revealed that these members of the team knew in advance that the operation will result in this manner or not it is not sure yet. It also suggests that aids were unlikely to question Muhammad Bin Salman’s orders or undertake sensitive actions without his consent.
